Simone
Ayoubkhan, B.A. received her Bachelors of Arts degree
in Biology from California State University, Stanislaus. While
an undergraduate, she began providing direct services to children
with autism and realized that her professional interests lay
outside the biology lab. Ms. Ayoubkhan has more than 9,000
hours of experience providing direct services and case management
to children with autism spectrum disorders.
Bridget
Deneau, B.A. received
her Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology from the University
of the Pacific. Ms. Deneau first began working with individuals
with special needs through Special Olympics and furthered
her experience during a practicum at Stockton Developmental
Center working with adults with severe developmental disabilities.
While completing her degree, Ms. Deneau was employed by a
nonpublic agency: first as a tutor for in-home programs and
later as a consultant to school programs. Ms. Deneau has served
as a teacher for preschool and elementary school students
with pervasive developmental disorders for San Joaquin County
Department of Education.
To date, Ms. Deneau has accumulated more than 15,000 hours
of direct teaching experience and supervision of children
with more than 25 children with autism spectrum disorders,
with an age range of 2 to 8 years. She, along with her colleagues,
has conducted research on training subtle aspects of social
interactions with children with autism. A portion of this
research was presented at the Conferences for the California
Association for Behavior Analysis and the Association for
Behavior Analysis Intervention in 2007.
Cora
Dunlap, B.A. received her Bachelors of Arts degree
in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Child Development
from California State University, Stanislaus. While an undergraduate
she began working as an Instructional Assistant. She has been
provided one on one intervention services to children diagnosed
with autism spectrum disorder for over 3 years in a variety
of home, school, and community settings.
Monica
Garcia, B.A. completed her Bachelor of Arts degree
in Liberal Studies (Emphasis in Exceptional Children and Youth)
at California State University, Stanislaus. Ms. Garcia has
more than 7 years experience and more than 6,000 hours providing
direct intervention and supervision of intensive behavior
analytic treatment programs to 15+ young children with autism
spectrum disorders. Ms. Garcia has experience working with
more than 30 children diagnosed with autism of varying age
and skill levels.
Julie
Klein, B.A. received her Bachelors of Arts degree
in Psychology from San Francisco State University. While an
undergraduate, Ms. Klien began working as an Instructional
Assistant in several in home programs for children with autism
spectrum disorders in both the Central Valley and the Bay
Area. In addition to her experience with children with autism
spectrum disorders, Ms. Klien also brings with her knowledge
of preschool curriculum gained from her employment at Head
Start. Ms. Klien has more than 8000 hours of experience working
directly with children with autism spectrum disorders.
Mette
Madsen, B.A. received her Bachelors of Arts degree
in Psychology from California State University, Stanislaus.
Ms. Madsen began working as an Instructional Assistant while
an undergraduate. She has provided over 3000 hours of direct
intervention and case management to over 30 children diagnosed
with autism spectrum disorder, with an age range of 2 to 8
years. Ms. Madsen has worked with children with varying skill
levels at preschool, in-home, and on-site at the Kendall School-
Modesto. In addition, Ms. Madsen has specialized training
and experience in the training of Instructional Assistants.
Krisann
Schroeder, B.A., received her Bachelor of Arts degree
from California State University, Sacramento where she majored
in Child Development and Minored in Psychology. While she
was completing her undergraduate coursework, she worked as
a substitute instructional assistant in special day classes
for children of varying ages and disabilities. To further
her experience in the field, Ms. Schroeder worked as an Instructional
Assistant in a classroom setting for teens with emotional
disturbances for 2 years and as a children’s Program
Assistant for a homeless shelter for women and children.
Ms. Schroeder’s initial interest in autism came about
as she was providing respite to a family of a child diagnosed
with autism. She subsequently became a 1:1 Instructional Assistant
in both the home and school settings for that child. Prior
to becoming a Clinical Assistant for the agency, Ms. Schroeder
has worked as a Trainer. Ms. Schroeder has in excess of 6000
hours providing direct intervention to children with autism
spectrum disorders from 2 to 12 years of age.
Tina
Sutyak, B.A., BCABA, received her Bachelor of Arts
degree in Liberal Studies from California State University,
Northridge. She is also a Board Certified Associate Behavior
Analyst. Ms. Sutyak first began working with children with
special needs as a home tutor in an applied behavior analysis
program for children with autism. Later, she served as a special
education teacher for a school district in Southern California.
Upon relocation to Northern California, she furthered her
skills by working in multiple capacities for several programs
providing services to children with autism in the Santa Cruz
Area, including The Bay School in Santa Cruz. Ms. Sutyak has
more than 7700 hours providing direct service and case management
for more than 35 young children with autism spectrum disorders,
aged 2 to 13 years old.
