Simone
Ayoubkhan, B.A. received her Bachelors of Arts degree
in Biology from California State University, Stanislaus. While
an undergraduate, she began providing direct services to children
with autism and realized that her professional interests lay
outside the biology lab. She is currently taking foundational
coursework in psychology and behavior analysis in preparation
for her pursuit of graduate-level training in these areas.
Ms. Ayoubkhan has worked with 20+ children with autism spectrum
disorders and has more 3000 hours providing direct services
and case management to children with autism spectrum disorders.
Bridget
Deneau, B.A.,
received her Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology from the
University of the Pacific. Ms. Deneau first began working
with individuals with special needs through Special Olympics
and furthered her experience during a practicum at Stockton
Developmental Center working with adults with severe developmental
disabilities. While completing her degree, Ms. Deneau was
employed by a nonpublic agency: first as a tutor for in-home
programs and later as a consultant to school programs. Ms.
Deneau has served as a teacher for preschool and elementary
school students with pervasive developmental disorders for
San Joaquin County Department of Education. To date, Ms. Deneau
has accumulated almost 15,000 hours of direct teaching experience
and supervision of children with more than 20 children with
autism spectrum disorders, with an age range of 2 to 8 years.
She is currently enrolled in the Credential and Masters degree
programs at the University of Phoenix.
Cathy
Eschete, B.A., received her Bachelor of Arts degree
from Louisiana College where she double majored in Elementary
and Special Education. Mrs. Eschete first began working with
special needs children at Sylvan Learning Center. She assessed
students to determine academic strengths and weaknesses and
carried out tutorial programs to improve student’s academic
growth. Mrs. Eschete was also a Lead Therapist for an in-home
Applied Behavior Analysis program for children with autism,
where she gained over 3 years of experience providing direct
service and case management. She also trained and mentored
new therapists joining the in-home program. Ms. Eschete is
an authentic curriculum writer. She authored curriculum for
Louisiana’s Heart of Spain Art Exhibit and presented
the curriculum to principals, teachers, and student teachers
throughout Louisiana school districts and college campuses.
She piloted the program throughout Rapides Parish in regular
and special education classroom settings. Later Mrs. Eschete
served as a special education teacher for a school district
in Louisiana, where she was chosen as a model inclusion teacher
for the parish in parallel teaching, co-teaching, and shared
instruction. She also has extensive training in integrating
technology into the classroom to promote higher order thinking
skills and active student engagement. Ms. Eschete has over
8 years experience working with children with disabilities.
Jenny Fischer, B.A., BCABA received her Bachelors
degree in Psychology from Whitman College in Walla Walla,
Washington. While at Whitman, Ms. Fischer began working in
intensive in-home programs for children diagnosed with autism
spectrum disorders. While an independent Lead Tutor for multiple,
in-home programs, Ms. Fischer also completed the coursework
and mentorship experience required to sit for the Associate
Behavior Analyst Certification Exam (BCABA). Ms. Fischer was
the recipient of an Oregon F.E.A.T. scholarship to support
these continuing education activities. Ms. Fischer has made
numerous presentations to families and staff throughout Oregon
on the application of behavior principles and Skinner’s
Analysis of Verbal Behavior to intervention programs for children
with autism. Ms. Fischer has in excess of 9000 hours of experience
providing direct intervention and supervision to more than
30 children with autism, with a range in ages from 2 to 12
years. She is currently enrolled in the Masters of Science
Program in Psychology (Behavior Analysis Concentration) at
California State University, Stanislaus.
Julie
Holder, B.A. received her Bachelors of Arts degree
in Psychology from San Francisco State University. While an
undergraduate, Ms. Holder began working as an Instructional
Assistant in several in home programs for children with autism
spectrum disorders both in the Central Valley and the Bay
Area. In addition to her experience with children autism spectrum
disorders, Ms. Holder also brings with her knowledge of preschool
curriculum gained from her employment at Head Start. Ms. Holder
has more than 5000 hours of experience working directly with
children with autism spectrum disorders.
Mette
Madsen, B.A., received her Bachelors of Arts degree
in Psychology from California State University, Stanislaus.
While an undergraduate, Ms. Madsen began working as an Instructional
Assistant. She has provided over 3000 hours of direct intervention
to over 30 children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder,
with a range of 2 to 7 years. Ms. Madsen has worked with children
with varying skill levels at preschool, in-home, and on-site
at the Kendall School- Modesto. Ms. Madsen also has extensive
experience in the training of Instructional Assistants.
Marie
Polk, M.A., BCBA, received her Bachelor and Master
of Arts degree in Psychology (with an emphasis in Applied
Behavior Analysis) from the University of the Pacific in Stockton,
CA. She is also a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Prior
to joining Therapeutic PATHWAYS, Mrs. Polk provided both in-home
and on-site behavior intervention services to adults diagnosed
with a mental illness through the Community Re-entry Program/UOP.
She has over five years experience utilizing behavior analytic
techniques that are commonly used in the treatment of autism.
Monica
Ramos, B.A., completed her Bachelor of Arts degree
in Liberal Studies (Emphasis in Exceptional Children and Youth)
at California State University, Stanislaus. Ms. Ramos has
more than 7 years experience and more than 6,000 hours providing
direct intervention and supervision of intensive behavior
analytic treatment programs to 15+ young children with autism
spectrum disorders. Ms. Ramos has experience working with
more than 30 children diagnosed with autism of varying age
and skill levels.
Tina
Sutyak, B.A., BCABA, received her Bachelor of Arts
degree in Liberal Studies from California State University,
Northridge. She is also a Board Certified Associate Behavior
Analyst. Ms. Sutyak first began working with children with
special needs as a home tutor in an applied behavior analysis
program for children with autism. Later, she served as a special
education teacher for a school district in Southern California.
Upon relocation to Northern California, she furthered her
skills by working in multiple capacities for several programs
providing services to children with autism in the Santa Cruz
Area, including The Bay School in Santa Cruz. Ms. Sutyak has
more than 7500 hours providing direct service and case management
for more than 25 young children with autism spectrum disorders,
aged 2 to 13 years old.
