Goals and objectives are formulated using multiple assessment tools (e.g., the Hawaii Early Learning Profile) as well as parent interview, and direct observation of the child in a variety of situations. Therefore, the goals and objectives of intervention are individualized for each child.

In general, each child has goals and objectives written for the following domains:

  • Attending
  • Imitation
  • Cognitive
  • Language and Communication
  • Pre-academic and Academic
  • Socialization and Play
  • Behavior
  • Fine and Gross Motor Skills
  • Self-help

Goals and objectives are updated on an ongoing basis and written reports and proposals are reviewed each quarter at IFSPs, IEPs, and quarterly meetings.
