Paying for Treatment

Covering the costs of ABA Treatment

Depending on your specific situation, there may be a number of options and resources for you to investigate as you consider the financial impacts of pursuing a treatment program. Below is a top-level overview of some of the most common programs.

Coverage by Health Plans

We are a provider for most major PPOs and HMOs. The passage of SB 946 means that health plans in California need to cover ABA services if they are prescribed by your treating physician. We contract with the following Health Insurance Companies:

Regional Centers

Regional centers may fund our services if they are approved as part of the Individual Program Plan (IPP). We are a vendor with the following regional centers:

  • Alta Regional Center
  • Valley Mountain Regional Center (VMRC)
  • Regional Center of the East Bay (RCEB)

School Districts and SELPAs

Does your child have an Individualized Education Program (IEP)? School district services are specified and approved as part of the IEP.

Private Pay

In situations where your family or other private individuals are covering the cost of treatment, we work with you to establish payment terms and a contract.

Treatment based on ABA, and delivered at the proper intensity and dosage by qualified professionals, has been scientifically verified to produce substantial improvements in the lives of children and adults with autism. We take very seriously the challenges facing many families in finding appropriate funding sources.
