Jill Young, Ph.D., BCBA is the Site Director for the Sacramento region. Dr. Young completed her Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology at California State University, Sacramento and her Ph.D. at the City University of New York, Queens College. As part of her professional training and experience, Dr. Young completed a Research Fellowship at the Institute for Basic Research in Developmental Disabilities in Staten Island, New York and a Fellowship for Doctoral Study in Applied Behavioral Analysis at the Princeton Child Development Institute (PCDI) in Princeton, New Jersey. Dr. Young has conducted research in various areas of behavior analysis including a study on generalized imitation across response classes with young children with autism that was subsequently published in the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis. Dr. Young is also a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

Dr. Young was the founder and first director of the New York Child Learning Institute (NYCLI), a New York State certified non-public pre-school and school program for children with autism. The Institute was the first replication of the PCDI model program for pre-school and school age children with autism spectrum disorders and the first center-based behavioral intervention program in New York City. While at NYCLI, Dr. Young also served as adjunct professor of Psychology at Queens College where she taught courses in Behavior Analysis at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Dr. Young received a Citation of Honor for providing the highest standard of education for children with autism spectrum disorders from the office of President of Borough of Queens, City of New York for her work at NYCLI. Dr. Young serves on the Board of Directors of the California Association for Behavior Analysis.


 
       
     

Devon Cavagnaro M.A. is the Site Coordinator for The Kendall School–Modesto. Ms. Cavagnaro received her Bachelor and Master of Arts in Education (Special Education) from California State University, Stanislaus. Ms. Cavagnaro holds three teaching credentials, one in general education and two in special education. Ms. Cavagnaro has extensive experience working with children in school settings. Her current primary focus is programming and training for socialization with peers. Ms. Cavagnaro has more than 12,000 hours of experience in providing direct treatment and supervision to more than 30 children with Autism Spectrum disorder. Ms. Cavagnaro's thesis research, which was presented at the 2005 Annual Conference of the California Association for Behavior Analysis, involved the use of a tactile prompt to increase spontaneous commenting in children with autism.

Allyson Moore, M.S., BCBA is a Site Coordinator for The Kendall School- Tracy and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from San Jose State University and a Masters of Science degree in Psychology (Behavior Analysis Concentration) from California State University, Stanislaus. Additionally, Ms. Moore is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a registered Marriage Family Therapist Intern.

Prior to joining our staff, Ms. Moore served as consultant to home-based intervention programs for children with autism in the Santa Cruz area. In addition, she was the first Head Teacher for The Bay School, a nonpublic school for children with autism located in Santa Cruz, CA. Ms. Moore also worked as a Behavior Interventionist, designing behavior change programs for children and adults with a wide variety of disabilities within the Valley Mountain Regional Center service area.

Ms. Moore has training and experience in the use of direct instruction, errorless and incidental teaching methods, as well as fluency-based measures of behavior. She has extensive experience developing programs for children with autism spectrum disorders across various skill levels. Ms. Moore has made several presentations at the annual conferences of The California Association for Behavior Analysis and Association for Behavior Analysis International. Further, Ms. Moore has more than 13,500 hours of experience providing direct treatment and supervision to more than 75 children with Autism Spectrum disorder.

Kristi Baysinger, M.A. BCBA is a Site Coordinator for The Kendall School-Elk Grove. Ms. Baysinger received her Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology from California State University, Sacramento and her Masters of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of the Pacific. She is also a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

Ms. Baysinger has experience designing and applying a range of behavioral interventions with both typically-developing preschool children as well as those with autism spectrum disorders. Ms. Baysinger has presented research projects at poster sessions at both the California Association for Behavior Analysis and Western Psychological Association. Her graduate thesis focused upon improving reading comprehension and self-efficacy related to reading competence in elementary school-age children. In addition to her work with children, Ms. Baysinger has worked with adults diagnosed with schizophrenia in a residential setting.

Ms. Baysinger has worked with 25 children with autism spectrum disorders ranging in age from 8 months to 8 years of age. She has almost 8000 hours of experience providing direct service and clinical supervision for children with autism spectrum disorders.

 

 
       
     

Stephanie Garibay, M.A. received her Masters of Arts degree in Education (Curriculum & Instruction) from California State University, Stanislaus. She also holds three teaching credentials, including two in special education. Her thesis research, which was presented at at the annual conference of the California Association for Behavior Analysis, involved the use of Photographic Activity Schedules with young children with autism. Prior to joining our staff, Ms. Garibay was employed as a staff member at the California State University, Stanislaus Center for Direct Instruction, where she was responsible for the instruction, supervision, and programming for children with a variety of learning disabilities. Ms. Garibay also gained experience with older students with disabilities while employed by the CSU, Stanislaus Disabled Student Services. Ms. Garibay has more than 15,000 hours providing direct service and supervision to 75+ children with autism spectrum disorders.
